Jad Davis, a partner in the Kutak Rock Irvine and LA offices, was recently nominated by the American Road & Transportation Builder’s Association (ARTBA) to serve as its 2014 Environmental Globe Award Judge.
Davis will be judging the ARTBA 15th Annual “Globe Awards” event that recognizes private-sector firms and public-sector transportation agencies that successfully protect and enhance the natural environment with the development of domestic transportation infrastructure projects. The program also recognizes transportation construction-related product manufacturers and material suppliers that run environmentally responsible businesses.
The American Road and Transportation Builder’s Association is the nation’s oldest national transportation construction-related trade group. Its mission is to grow and protect transportation infrastructure in a safe and efficient manner for both public and business purposes.
In his work with Kutak Rock, Davis focuses on environmental law. He advises clients on a wide range of regulatory compliance and environmental enforcement matters and represents clients in state and federal courts as well as before various state, regional and local agencies in lawsuits alleging an array of soils, water and air contamination.
