Her practice encompasses the full scope of business transactional law, but Allissa concentrates her practice in real estate and commercial transactions, general corporate law, contract preparation and negotiation, and banking and commercial lending.
Allissa is experienced in all aspects of real estate development, from purchase and sale, construction, and leasing to representing clients at local government planning meetings and controversial public hearings. She is also skilled in identifying and resolving complex title issues, reviewing surveys, and addressing land use and zoning matters, providing ongoing due diligence review to a clients with locations across the United States.
She also has extensive experience in a wide variety of general corporate matters, including assisting clients with the organization and qualification of business organizations such as corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships.
Allissa is skilled in preparation and negotiation of commercial contracts including leases, real estate contracts, asset purchase agreements, service agreements, confidentiality agreements, buy-sell agreements, and non-competition agreements. She is also experienced in negotiating and resolving disputes among owners, partners, and investors. Allissa understands the significance of the departure of an existing partner or the admission of a new partner to a business organization.
Her representation of numerous small and large businesses and private individuals has also provided her with substantial experience in various regulatory and compliance issues, including Arkansas Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) regulations, lottery, and tobacco regulations.
