Allissa L. Sims


Allissa concentrates her practice in real estate and commercial transactions, including acquisition, disposition, leasing, construction, development, and banking and commercial lending.

Allissa represents clients in many aspects of real estate from purchase and sale to development, construction, and leasing. Her experience in real estate development includes representing clients at local government planning meetings and controversial public hearings. Allissa is also experienced in identifying and resolving complex title issues and reviewing surveys. In addition, she has considerable experience with land use and zoning matters, providing ongoing due diligence zoning review to a client with locations across the United States and conducting land use review projects for hundreds of operating locations for a Fortune 500 client.

Allissa's practice encompasses corporate matters including assisting clients with the formation and qualification of business organizations including corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships. She is skilled in preparation and negotiation of commercial contracts including leases, real estate contracts, asset purchase agreements, service agreements, confidentiality agreements, and non-competition agreements.

Allissa's representation of small and large businesses has also provided her with substantial experience in various regulatory and compliance issues. She has significant experience with Arkansas Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) regulations and is also familiar with lottery, tobacco, and money transmitter regulations.
