Brian represents a wide variety of clients in all aspects of Arizona commercial real estate development.

Brian’s work focuses on negotiation of letters of intent, leases, purchase agreements, sale agreements, and all related closing documents; review of title, survey, environmental and land-use due diligence; negotiating and documenting the equity and debt structures for the transaction; negotiating and issuing all required legal opinions; loan workouts and modifications; and the acquisition of troubled assets and non-performing loans.

  • Represented large local multifamily developer in connection with the successful workout of over $250 million in loans secured by numerous projects containing several thousand units.
  • Represented Fortune 25 Retail Company in connection with development of its Arizona presence, consisting of more than 50 sites.
  • Represented multifamily developer in connection with transit-related project on land owned by local municipality.
  • Represented international property and casualty insurance holding company in negotiation of office lease for its Arizona headquarters.
  • Represented loan buyers in connection with acquisition of multiple secured loans totaling over $100 million in principal amount and subsequent foreclosure and disposition of collateral.
