Thomas A. Isler


Thomas practices commercial and general civil litigation. He drafts and prepares pleadings, motions and other litigation-related documents, conducts research, assists with depositions and helps manage discoveries. 

Prior to joining Kutak Rock, Thomas served as the McCormick Foundation legal fellow at the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press in Washington, D.C., where he drafted a dozen amicus briefs for the Second, Fourth, Ninth, and D.C. Circuits, in addition to state appellate courts, and helped to litigate several federal lawsuits on behalf of journalists and media companies. As a former journalist, he brings significant writing experience to his law practice.
