Hillary focuses her transactional practice on complex commercial real estate matters, including commercial finance and general corporate matters related to the development, acquisition and disposition of commercial properties of all types and leasing of retail, office and industrial properties.

Hillary has extensive experience representing clients on all sides of real estate transactions including, without limitation, negotiating purchase and sale contracts and related documents, analyzing and resolving title, zoning and survey issues and handling transaction closings. Hillary has represented REITs and private equity groups in connection with the acquisition, development, disposition, and/or sale-leaseback of retail, hotel, office, industrial, mixed use, multifamily projects and senior living portfolios. She provides counsel to clients in the leasing, financing, acquisition and disposition of retail and cultivation cannabis properties.  Hillary’s practice also includes representation of healthcare providers in healthcare related real estate matters.  

With more than 10 years of experience in the Denver business and real estate community prior to law school, Hillary partners with her clients to identify solutions, provide clear communication and achieve optimum results. 
 

  • Counsel to a private equity group in acquisition of over $100 million in multifamily properties.
  • Represents national and regional landlords and tenants in all aspects of negotiating leases and for industrial, office and retail properties nationwide.
  • Counsel to borrowers and capital providers in Colorado PACE loan financing transactions.
  • Real estate counsel to a cannabis real estate investment group in the acquisition and disposition of cannabis real estate portfolio.
