News | July 2, 2018

Sandra Hagen Solin, Senior Director of Government Relations, was recently quoted in the June 28 Denver Business Journal article “Stapleton, Polis clash greatly on issues from energy to health care. Here’s what that means for Colorado business.”

This week, Colorado voters picked candidates Democrat Jared Polis and Republican Walker Stapleton in the primary election for November’s gubernatorial race. The article explains the stark differences between the two candidates and what that means for business in the state. Referring to Tuesday’s race, Solin said, “Company leaders, wherever they fall on the political spectrum, need to wake up and realize how important the choice of Colorado’s next governor will be toward the economic future of the state. The business community needs to be fully engaged in this race.”
