Experienced Real Estate and Construction Attorney

Kutak Rock LLP, a national law firm, seeks a full-time attorney with a minimum of 7 years of experience with real estate and construction matters to join its Washington, DC office. The ideal candidate will have experience in real estate finance and other commercial real estate transactions (including drafting and negotiating loan documents, purchase and sale agreements and leases, regulatory agreements and other restrictive covenants), reviewing and managing title, survey and other real estate due diligence, coordinating and managing due diligence sessions, and negotiating and implementing construction contracts and related agreements, including AIA and ConsensusDocs forms. The candidate will support a busy public finance practice which requires real estate due diligence for its transactions. Additionally, the candidate will work on other transactions, including public-private-partnerships, for which the candidate will provide construction contracting expertise. Candidates should indicate in their cover letter whether they will be bringing any portable business.
