Events and Marketing Coordinator

Working under the direction of the Director of Marketing and Business Development, the Events and Marketing Coordinator will help coordinate and execute office, firm and digital events (i.e., Zoom webinars) and support the marketing communications team with digital communication projects and other marketing initiatives as needed. The Events and Marketing Coordinator will have significant interaction with lawyers, office and practice managers and firm administration. Successful candidates will possess strong project management skills, an aptitude for developing, hosting and deploying events on a digital platform, excellent written and oral communications skills, and will be able to collaborate effectively within a team and across administrative departments.


Events Coordination

Supports the firm’s digital events by:

  • Setting up, managing and deploying digital events (Zoom Meetings and Webinars)
  • Supporting firm administration with local office and firm events
  • Assisting firm administration with obtaining CLE accreditation and tracking attorney attendance
  • Setting up contact lists, running reports and reconciling attendance and survey responses
  • Working with attorneys, working groups/practice groups, administration, firm committees and firm leadership to strategize in-person and digital events
  • Working closely with the firm’s Marketing Technology Manager and Creative and Digital Marketing Manager to produce high-quality event landing pages, registration pages and mailers
  • Liaising with users on the functionality of Zoom Meetings and Webinars
  • Assisting presenters with execution of Zoom Meetings and Webinars (rehearsal, presentation sharing, polling, questions, room breakouts, recordings, etc.)

Digital Communication Support

Supports the marketing communications team with day-to-day and specialized digital communication projects by:

  • Drafting and distributing client alerts using the firm’s email marketing software, Vuture
  • Working with marketing communications managers to develop targeted and effective mailers (Alerts, Legal Updates, Press Releases, Firm News, etc.)
  • Working with templates in Vuture and InDesign
  • Assisting with contact list preparation and maintenance

Marketing Communication Team Support

Supports and assists marketing communication managers with day-to-day tactics by:

  • Providing support for content maintenance on (careers site, news items, attorney biographies, experience)
  • Researching news stories or securing digital media from the Internet
  • Running reports across varied technological platforms and department tools
  • Assisting with the setup of surveys and exporting reports in Survey Monkey
  • Other projects and assignments as needed


  • Superb attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong background with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of email marketing best practices
  • Preference given to those with previous experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Vuture, Zoom, and/or SiteCore

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (Marketing or Communications degree preferred)
  • 2-3 years of experience in a professional services environment
