Real Estate Paralegal

Position Summary:

Primary duties include managing due diligence, closing and post-closing documentation as well as assisting in all facets of commercial real estate transactions, including the review of title commitments and surveys, preparation and resolution of objections contained in title and survey comment letters, preparation of real estate documents and contact with clients.

Requirements and Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate are preferred and a minimum of five years’ experience in a very busy or high volume legal setting involving complex commercial real estate transactions is required. Must have the ability to examine, evaluate and summarize large quantities of information. Must be proficient with word processing systems. Familiarization with legal research procedures and ability to perform limited to extensive topical research required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills are necessary. Must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and willingness to assume responsibility for the start and completion of tasks.
