Kutak Rock LLP’s Denver office is seeking qualified applicants for an evening Document Processor.
The primary responsibility is to process a variety of documents for attorneys and staff members. Primary job duties are:
- cleaning, styling, formatting scanned, converted or corrupt documents
- making requested edits to documents
- preparing tables, drafts and flow charts
- manipulating PDF documents
- proofreading for grammar, formatting and revision accuracy
- printing documents
- redlining documents
- marking/insertion of Table of Authorities in necessary court filings
- assisting staff members and attorneys with application questions
- covering telephone/email communications for the department
- e-filing after hours in state and federal jurisdictions
- transcribing documents from handwritten draft, print copy and audio recordings
- other duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
The selected individual will possess a high school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of three years’ experience is preferred, and/or a strong background in English reading/writing paired with a high appreciation for “perfect document” aesthetics. Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel. Position requires minimum typing speed of 65 wpm, strong grammatical, proofreading, and attention to detail skills, an exceptional team player, ability to work under tight deadlines, ability to switch effectively between projects, ability to work independently with little supervision, ability to prioritize workloads and troubleshoot minor problems. Must be flexible to work overtime. Hours: 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Monday-Friday.
