The selected individual will provide secretarial support for several corporate lawyers to maintain an effective and efficient daily work flow. A major portion of this position involves heavy document processing assignments. Other duties include communication with clients, attorneys and others on the telephone and through written correspondence; coordinating preparation of initial and subsequent drafts of documents; proofreading and marking documents for changes, as necessary; filing responsibilities; preparing closing transcripts and scheduling of hotel and travel arrangements. Direct entry of time, recapping expense memoranda and other miscellaneous projects as assigned.
Requirement and Qualifications:
Requirements include excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work under deadline and workload pressures, excellent technical, organizational, written and verbal communication skills and proofreading and attention to detail skills are also essential. Must have the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and move from one project to another. Must be able to interface well with other lawyers, clients and staff. Three years' legal secretary experience preferred.
