Corporate Legal Document Assistant

Position Summary

The selected candidate will provide administrative and clerical support. Duties include assisting with the maintenance of client’s electronic files, uploading and profiling documents, scanning, photocopying, filing, and printing projects. Additional duties include tracking transaction documents and working with title companies post-closing to ensure receipt of required documents. Other projects assigned may include various clerical tasks associated with transaction closings, form preparation or logging of transaction documents.

Requirements and Qualifications

Requirements include minimum of two years’ clerical or secretarial experience preferred. Strong MS Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel), organizational, written and verbal communication skills, proofreading and attention to detail are essential. This individual must have the ability to prioritize, multi-task, work independently, and work well under deadline and workload pressures. Familiarity with real estate transactions a plus.

Salary Range: $35,000 - $50,000, commensurate with experience.
