On August 10, 2015 Kutak Rock Minneapolis lawyers Tim Keane and Todd Guerrero achieved a significant victory at the Minnesota Court of Appeals, where the court reversed the decision by the Lake Minnetonka Conservation District to issue a dock license to a commercial marina on Tanager Bay, a small bay of the lake.

July 1, 2015

Kutak Rock attorneys Julie Cox and Sam Blatnick of the firm’s Kansas City office obtained a judgment from the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas in favor of a travel services client, awarding the company more than $500,000 in damages for breach of contract.

After nearly a year and a half of litigation, Kutak Rock attorneys Marcia Washkuhn and Kasey Cappellano of the firm’s Omaha office obtained an order from the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska granting summary judgment to one of the firm’s employer clients.

Kutak Rock attorneys Tim Keane, Todd Guerrero and Douglas Peters successfully represented the Abu-Huraira Islamic Center against the City of St. Anthony Village, Minn. in obtaining a settlement agreement that will allow the Islamic Center to operate a religious assembly after the city previously rejected its conditional use permit (CUP) application.
