Kutak Rock LLP established its Fayetteville office on May 1, 2001, in order to develop a strong litigation practice in the state of Arkansas. The attorneys’ practice represents corporate, business and governmental clients in the defense and prosecution of a broad variety of complex civil litigation. The lawyers in this office, who focus on contract and contract-related litigation, have extensive experience representing health care and managed care organizations.
Arkansas attorneys, working together out of the firm's Little Rock and Fayetteville offices and utilizing the firm's national resources, have been involved with a number of Arkansas-based clients and projects, including:
- Representing a diverse group of public and private companies in connection with various corporate financings, regulatory compliance matters, and mergers and acquisitions, including the representation of clients in both buy- and sell-side merger and acquisition transactions aggregating more than $5.5 billion in deal value since 2002.
- Serving as bond counsel to various Arkansas political subdivisions in connection with the issuance of tax-exempt governmental bonds and private activity bonds, including numerous multifamily housing financings.
