Alan L. Rupe, managing partner of Kutak Rock's Wichita office, has been named "2010 Wichita Labor and Employment Lawyer of the Year" by Best Lawyers magazine.

Mr. Rupe is an employment trial lawyer, providing day-to-day counseling, training and expertise for labor litigation and administrative agency proceedings. He has received recognition for his strong community involvement and diversity efforts and is the recipient of numerous awards from local and national bar associations. He shares his experience with executives, lawyers and human resource professionals, speaking frequently on the topics of ethics, sex harassment and a variety of workplace issues. His monthly articles in Workforce Management are read by employers across the country. He is a contributing author to the Kansas Bar Association’s Employment Law Handbook and the Annual Survey of Law, two widely distributed handbooks on employment and discrimination topics.
