Kutak Rock LLP announced today that it has been selected by General Electric Company as a recipient of a GE Legal Outside Counsel Diversity Award. The awards program, launched in 2008, recognized Kutak Rock for its overall diversity efforts and the gender and ethnic diversity of its lawyers who work on GE matters.

The diversity award was presented at the GE Legal Diversity Conference on October 20 in Chicago which was attended by senior GE lawyers, including GE General Counsel Brackett Denniston who delivered a keynote speech, diverse GE attorneys, select outside counsels and special guests. Kutak Rock attorneys Brad Nielsen (Omaha office) and Deborah Prosser (Los Angeles office) attended the conference and Daphne Aronson (Omaha office), Director of Diversity, accepted the award on behalf of the firm.

Additionally, Kutak Rock LLP was named one of the 2008 Best Law Firms for Women by Working Mother magazine and was recently named one of the 2009 Top 100 Law Firms for Diversity by the publishers of MultiCultural Law Magazine -- ranking twenty-second in the "Top 100 Law Firms for Women" listing and first in its "Top 25 Law Firms for Native-Americans" listing.
