15 Join Firm Partnership

Kutak Rock LLP, a national provider of legal services for corporate matters, securities, real estate, tax, public finance and litigation, has elevated 18 attorneys to the firm partnership. The promotions go into effect January 1, 2009 and bring the total to 234 partners in 16 offices nationwide.

Atlanta

Eric R. Sender concentrates his practice on banking and commercial lending and public finance. He represents lenders and providers of credit enhancement and liquidity support for securities transactions and also represents commercial banks and insurance companies as providers of structured investment products. Mr. Sender had been an associate with the firm since 2002. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Emory University School of Law the same year.

Denver

Micah J. Halverson practices in the area of real estate finance, representing financial institutions and developers in commercial real estate transactions. This includes commercial lending, real estate finance, acquisition, disposition, leasing, construction and development of real estate. He has worked as an associate with the firm since 2005. Mr. Halverson received his Juris Doctor in 2001 from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.

Mark C. Willis concentrates his litigation practice on complex commercial and business, employment and real estate matters, including landlord/tenant disputes, creditor's rights and bad-faith and insurance coverage litigation. He also represents clients in civil matters, including mediation, arbitration, administrative hearings and trial. Mr. Willis has worked as an associate with the firm since 2001. He received his Juris Doctor in 1999 from University of Denver College of Law.

Fayetteville

Bryan G. Looney concentrates his practice on assisting health care providers with federal and state regulatory and operational issues; analyzing fraud and abuse, self-referral and issues affecting health care companies; and analysis of joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions from a business and health care regulatory perspective. He received his Juris Doctor in 2002 from the University of Tulsa College of Law and has been an associate with Kutak Rock since 2006.

Little Rock

Tyler S. McClay concentrates his civil trial practice on defending hospitals and physicians in professional malpractice litigation, provides counsel on peer review matters and on general health law issues. He also represents hospitals in contract disputes with physicians, defends attorneys sued for legal malpractice and represents business owners in lawsuits arising out of construction and other workplace accidents. Mr. McClay received his Juris Doctor in 1990 from the University of Florida College of Law and has worked as counsel for Kutak Rock since 2007.

Los Angeles

Stephanie A. Hingle concentrates her practice on complex civil litigation with an emphasis on toxic tort, product liability and commercial warranty law. She received her Juris Doctor in 1998 from Pepperdine University School of Law and has worked as counsel for Kutak Rock since 2007.

Omaha

Danielle J. Amorena represents various parties involved in real estate matters and commercial lending transactions. She received her Juris Doctor in 2001 from Creighton University School of Law and has been an associate at Kutak Rock since 2004.

Jennifer L. Andrews concentrates her practice on complex civil litigation with an emphasis on risk management, class action litigation, products liability, insurance coverage and toxic tort defense. She received her Juris Doctor in 2002 from Creighton University School of Law and has been an associate at Kutak Rock since 2004.

Michael G. Mullin concentrates his practice on mediations and arbitrations; commercial, insurance, personal injury and wrongful death, product liability, and toxic tort litigation. He received his Juris Doctor in 1980 from Creighton University School of Law and has been with the firm since 2008.

Gillian “Gigi” O’Hara defends local and national clients against various employment-related issues and practices in the defense of products liability, professional negligence and asbestos lawsuits. She received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 2002 from Syracuse University College of Law and has been an associate at Kutak Rock since 2002.

John J. Wiechmann represents corporate investors, syndicators, and developers in renewable energy, affordable housing, and historic rehabilitation tax credit transactions. He received his Juris Doctor in 2002 from University of Illinois College of Law and has been an associate with the firm since 2002.

Scottsdale

Heather M. Fox concentrates her practice on real estate transactions, financing and leasing, representing investors, developers and lenders in transactions that involve shopping centers, office buildings, apartment buildings, retail and other developments. Her practice involves business planning, representing creditors in bankruptcy proceedings and workouts. Ms. Fox received her Juris Doctor in 2002 from the University of California at Berkeley School of Law and has been an associate with Kutak Rock since 2007.

Alison L. Gaffney concentrates her practice on commercial real estate development, including acquisitions, depositions, leasing, financing and property management matters. She also works in business planning for real estate transactions such as structuring and forming corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies. Ms. Gaffney received her Juris Doctor in 2002 from the Arizona State University College of Law and has been an associate with Kutak Rock since 2005.

Nicole E. Perrault concentrates her practice on commercial real estate development and lending, including acquisitions and dispositions of vacant and improved real property, preparing easements and restrictive covenants in retail and other matters.  She has experience in business planning for real estate transactions, including structuring and forming corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies. Ms. Perrault received her Juris Doctor in 2002 from the Capital University Law School and has been an associate with Kutak Rock since 2002.

Washington, D.C.

Michael J. Bradshaw, Jr. concentrates his practice on public finance, including matters related to tax exemption of debt instruments issued by municipal governments. He also represents commercial banks with regard to credit enhancement and liquidity support in public finance transactions. Mr. Bradshaw received his Juris Doctor in 2002 from the College of William and Mary School of Law and has worked as an associate with the firm since 2002.
