Mr. Tarvin is an associate in the firm’s Fayetteville litigation group. His general civil litigation practice includes the representation and defense of businesses and individuals in construction, contract, real estate and other commercial disputes, as well as the defense of health care providers in medical malpractice matters. He also has experience with adversary proceedings in the bankruptcy context and post-trial appellate work.

Mr. Tarvin received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Baylor University. Prior to law school, he worked for an insurance defense law firm in Dallas, Texas. He received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Arkansas School of Law. While in law school, he served as the managing editor of the Journal of Food Law & Policy, where his research and writing focused on food safety issues from a common law and regulatory perspective.

He is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in all state courts in Arkansas, as well as the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas.
