Mr. Hunter is an associate in the Little Rock office’s corporate group. His practice focuses primarily on securities regulation, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions and private equity fund formation, as well as a wide range of legal matters affecting limited liability companies, close corporations, and partnerships. He represents clients in a wide range of business sectors, including health care, telecommunications, information technology, investment banking, food and beverage services and retail.

Representative Experience:

  • Assisting publicly held companies with securities compliance, registration and reporting under both the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
  • Providing clients assistance on matters of corporate governance.
  • Representing clients with respect to debt and equity securities in both public and private markets.
  • Assisting clients with business formation and growth.
  • Representing clients with respect to mergers and acquisitions, both public and private.
  • Representing investors in venture capital, buyout and long-term private equity funds.
  • Providing guidance to companies regarding NYSE and NASDAQ listing rules and regulations.

Mr. Hunter received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where he was Articles Editor for the UALR Law Review and a member of the UALR Moot Court Board. Mr. Hunter competed in the University of Minnesota’s McGee National Civil Rights Moot Court Competition where he received the award for the competition’s Top Oralist. He received his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University, where he was a member of the Corps of Cadets.
