Strategic Focus

Kim works with our leadership to maintain the firm’s culture and values and position our firm for continued and long-term success. She serves as a convener and facilitator to Kutak Rock’s attorneys, whether in one-on-one conversations or in working groups, departments, national practice groups or committees. Kim facilitates the development of strategic plans for the firm, DEI, and well-being.

Inclusive Engagement

In her role as Executive Inclusive Engagement Officer, Kim coordinates the work of the firm’s inclusive engagement department and supports the efforts of the department, Attorney Professional Development Committee, the National Inclusiveness and Diversity Committee, the Pro Bono and Community Service Committee, and the Well-Being Initiative to build targeted and strategic plans to improve diversity, equity, inclusiveness, long-term careers, and holistic health and well-being. The inclusive engagement department also oversees associated programming and activities, including affinity groups, the firm’s mindfulness group, data analytics, and educational programs and trainings. The combined actions of hundreds of firm members comprise a firmwide effort to manifest a value our firm has held dear since its inception: creating a truly inclusive work environment for people of all backgrounds and experiences and broadening the depth of experience and opinion for the benefit of our workplaces, clients and communities. 

Kim works closely with the leaders of the committees, the chair and vice chair of the firm, and the executive committee to support Kutak Rock members to improve inclusiveness and well-being at Kutak Rock and in our communities.
