Saundra serves and advises her clients with diverse litigation experience.

Saundra’s broad civil litigation experience includes successful representation of a variety of complex matters, including real estate disputes, premises liability claims, product defect claims, employment disputes, environmental and toxic torts, catastrophic injuries, FDCPA claims, unfair competition disputes and professional malpractice claims with a particular emphasis on architect and engineer malpractice claims. Saundra has trial, arbitration, mediation and Labor Commission hearing experience.

  • Obtained dismissal on summary judgment by attacking duty and causation on claims made against an engineering firm on a condominium project
  • Prevailed on an anti-SLAPP motion in a matter involving alleged violations of the FDCPA
  • Successfully obtained a favorable result on alleged California Consumers Legal Remedies Act claims
  • Obtained dismissal on summary judgment for lack of evidence after taking and defending lead depositions in a multimillion-dollar antitrust and trade libel case against a national prosthetic service provider and microprocessor-controlled prosthetic knee manufacturer; drafted the appellate brief which was affirmed on appeal
  • Successfully defended various industry corporate clients against alleged wrongful termination claims, age discrimination claims, sexual harassment claims, retaliation claims, wage claims, misclassification claims or technical violation claims
  • Obtained a binding arbitration award for architect on an indemnity claim against a sub-consultant arising from the design and development of a coroner’s facility
  • Obtained a dismissal in exchange for a waiver of court-ordered monetary discovery sanctions involving legal malpractice claims against a transactional attorney
