Jennie serves as regional managing partner of the firm's Arkansas offices, located in Little Rock, Fayetteville and Rogers. She focuses her practice on corporate and partnership taxation, estate planning, tax issues for nonprofit organizations and she regularly provides tax-related advice to publicly traded, privately held, and various other types of REITs, real estate funds and publicly traded partnerships (“PTPs”). She also provides tax support to Kutak Rock’s corporate and mergers and acquisitions group.

Jennie’s REIT experience includes assisting in issuing tax opinions, analyzing the income and asset tests, and providing structuring advice such as tiered REIT structures and issues related to the pension-held REIT rules and unrelated business taxable income. In addition, she assists one of the world’s largest hospitality companies with the issuance of asset-backed notes through term securitization transactions. Jennie provides tax advice to other entities involving asset-backed securities and mortgage-backed securities as well.
