Meredith focuses her practice on complex real estate and real estate financing transactions representing lenders, community land trusts, developers and other investors in a variety of transactions including acquiring, selling, exchanging, leasing, financing and developing commercial real estate. She routinely serves as counsel in multifamily property acquisitions and dispositions, sale-leaseback transactions, condominium and planned community formation, leasing and ground leasing, equipment lease restructuring, military housing privatization loan transactions, secured lending and real estate-backed commercial financing.

  • Represents a national REIT in connection with acquisitions and dispositions of affordable and conventional multifamily properties.
  • Counsel to housing authority in connection with planned community formation to allow use of new markets tax credits, low-income housing tax credits and a mix of other financing sources to construct affordable senior housing.
  • Represents community land trusts in matters relating to acquisition, disposition, ground leasing, commercial leasing and development of real property to preserve affordable housing and non-profit office space in and around Denver, Colorado.
  • Counsel to a lender and servicer for permanent and construction loans, securitization and loan restructuring in excess of $7 billion in military housing privatization transactions.
  • Counsel to a REIT in connection with sale-leasebacks of charter schools and prison facilities.

  • Counsel to a lender and servicer for permanent and construction loans, securitization and loan restructuring in excess of $3.5 billion in military housing privatization transactions.
  • Representing a national REIT in connection with acquisitions and dispositions of affordable and conventional multifamily properties.
