Ms. Kilgore is a partner in the litigation group of the Denver office of Kutak Rock LLP. Her practice focuses on representing plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial litigation, including matters involving fraud, breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty, commercial lending disputes, commercial real estate development and landlord disputes, contested matters in bankruptcy court, insurance coverage, disputes over secured and unsecured transactions, securing injunctive relief and other pre-judgment remedies, and other commercial contract and business tort disputes. Before joining the firm, Ms. Kilgore was an associate in the business litigation and securities litigation practice groups of a Dallas law firm. She also has a background in criminal law as a former prosecutor.

  • Defending one of the nation’s largest banks in state and federal courts against claims of fraud, breach of fiduciary duty and breach of contract.
  • Counsel to clients in insurance litigation, including declaratory judgment actions, bad faith suits, subrogation actions and disputes among insurers.
  • Representing creditors in bankruptcy courts and in federal and state appellate courts.
  • Successfully representing a national franchisor in termination of franchise agreements and securing appropriate injunctive relief to protect franchisor’s intellectual property and trade secrets.
  • Assisting commercial lenders in disputes regarding debt collection and debt restructuring.
  • Representing numerous commercial and residential landlords with respect to evictions, lease violations, tenant improvements and other lease disputes.
  • Obtaining favorable resolution for founding limited partner in a complex partnership dispute, including claims for injunctive relief, breach of contract, wrongful dissolution and breach of fiduciary duty.
  • Representing real estate developers and construction companies in development, construction and negligence disputes.
  • Counsel to developers, owners, general contractors and subcontractors in contract disputes and actions involving the foreclosure of mechanic’s liens.
