Ms. Anderson is a business counselor and litigator with extensive complex business and corporate law experience in both Florida and Arizona. As lead counsel, Ms. Anderson has repeatedly obtained successful results for her clients through dispositive motions, favorable settlements, trials and appeals. Ms. Anderson has been using that experience to counsel her clients, guide them with compliance matters, and to manage their business risks, minimizing their litigation exposure.

Therefore, in addition to her trial experience, she serves as outside general counsel and advises businesses in all aspects of their governance, regulatory, compliance, pre-litigation, threatened litigation, negotiations and litigation needs. Many of her business clients operate in the financial, public finance, technology, construction, real estate, hospitality, resort and leisure industries, insurance, and tribal/casino/gaming industries. Her clients range from entrepreneurs, start-ups and mid-sized companies, to governmental entities and large multi-national corporations. Ms. Anderson has served as counsel in a variety of different business law matters, including contracts, corporate law, compliance and governance, securities and public finance, business dissolution, professional negligence, fiduciary duty, indemnification, insurance and warranties, trade secrets, non-competes and other intellectual property matters.

Ms. Anderson’s experience also includes years of finance, securities and public finance transactions and litigation, in which she has represented issuers, governmental entities and agencies, underwriters, lenders and bond purchasers. She was formerly a member of the firm’s National Public Finance group, and has extensive knowledge of the industry and the disputes that may arise out of the securities and finance transactions.

Ms. Anderson graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law with Distinction, where she was a member of the Journal of Transnational Law and Contemporary Problems. She earned her undergraduate and graduate business degrees from McGill University in Canada. She is admitted to practice law in Arizona, Florida, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona. Over the years, she had been actively involved with multiple charitable, community and professional organizations, including serving on the Board of Directors of the Homeless Youth Connection for three years.
