Brian represents clients in complex commercial real estate matters including acquisition and disposition, development, real estate finance, leasing, sale-leaseback and tenant in common transactions.

Brian advises multifamily, office building and shopping center developers in matters ranging from entity formation, due diligence and land acquisition to governmental entitlements, financing and construction. Brian has extensive experience representing landlords and tenants in retail, industrial and office leasing transactions. 

Brian also represents national lending institutions and borrowers in negotiating, documenting and closing mortgage loan and mezzanine loan transactions and is experienced counseling clients with respect to distressed commercial real estate loans, including negotiating forbearance agreements, workouts, restructurings, property acquisitions and dispositions.

  • Representing sellers and purchasers in commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions with respect to properties located throughout the United States.
  • Representing landlords and tenants in retail, office and industrial leasing transactions.
  • Representing institutional lenders in connection with the closing of mortgage loan and mezzanine financing transactions throughout the United States.
  • Substantially representing equity investors with respect to multimillion-dollar investments in numerous real estate partnerships and limited liability companies.
  • Assisted developers with several downtown Omaha redevelopment projects.
