Mediation
Amy is the first female in Nebraska to be accepted into the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals. She has successfully mediated a wide variety of disputes, including disability discrimination claims, personal injury claims, gender discrimination claims, wrongful death claims, invasion of privacy claims, defamation claims, medical malpractice claims, estate claims, landlord/tenant disputes, insurance coverage claims and complex business disputes, among others. She also regularly serves as an arbitrator for many different kinds of cases, products liability, personal injury and complex business disputes among them.
A second-career lawyer, her experience as a public school teacher, combined with extensive experience litigating personal injury, products liability and insurance coverage disputes, gives her the unique ability to both educate parties on how a case will progress to verdict and provide valuable support in reaching success in mediation.
Amy is on the panel of approved mediators for the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska. She is also an approved panelist for the American Arbitration Association (AAA) panel of arbitrators and an approved panelist for the AAA panel of mediators.
