Mr. Gregory is a partner in the firm’s Little Rock office. Since 1969, his practice has been concentrated in business development and finance, including handling initial public offerings and issuance of other equity and debt securities in the public markets. He also provides lead counsel services in mergers and acquisitions of public and private companies, and in handling private equity and venture capital-related financings involved in business formation and development. He provides corporate governance and securities guidance to public and private companies in the financial services, information technology, health care, biotechnology and nanotechnology sectors. He has served as lead counsel in acquisitions and dispositions of publicly owned health care companies, as well as in private transactions involving health care providers, including skilled nursing facilities, transitional hospitals, hospice and home health care agencies, institutional pharmacies and outpatient and rehabilitation therapy centers.

In the life sciences industry, Mr. Gregory’s practice has included representation of emerging technology companies as well as institutional private equity funding sources in fields such as cancer, osteoporosis and infectious disease diagnostics and therapeutics.

Mr. Gregory also has represented issuers and broker-dealers in numerous private placements and initial public and secondary offerings of securities in many other industries, including medical technology, power electronics, other manufacturing industries and banking, specialty insurance and related financial fields.

He has been recognized for many years in the annual The Best Lawyers in America© publication as one of the best lawyers in Arkansas in his areas of expertise. Mr. Gregory was named the Best Lawyers® 2018 and 2016 Securities Regulation "Lawyer of the year"; the Best Lawyers® 2015 "Lawyer of the Year" for Little Rock in Mergers and Acquisitions Law; and Best Lawyers® 2014 Little Rock Corporate Law "Lawyer of the Year." He also was named the Best Lawyers® 2012 and 2019 Little Rock Mergers & Acquisitions Law "Lawyer of the Year," and Best Lawyers® 2013 Little Rock Securities/Capital Markets Law "Lawyer of the Year." He also has received a “number 1” ranking for several years among corporate and securities lawyers in Arkansas in the peer-reviewed international publication Chambers USA law list recognizing America’s leading lawyers for business.

Mr. Gregory served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Arkansas Arts Center from 1990-1998, and he was Chair of the Intellectual Property Law Section of the Arkansas Bar Association in 2002. He served as Co-Chair of the 2004 Arkansas Venture Conference. In 2005 he was the recipient of the organization’s first Forum Award for Leadership and Support for Entrepreneurship in Arkansas. He served as Chair of Accelerate Arkansas from 2008-2010 and is a member of its board of directors. Accelerate Arkansas is a statewide non-profit initiative of business, professional and educational leaders in Arkansas seeking to accelerate the growth of knowledge-based industries and infrastructure support in the state. He is the 2012 recipient of the Fribourgh Award, given by the College of Science and Mathematics of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. This annual award is given in recognition of an individual’s extraordinary contributions to Arkansas in the fields of health, mathematics, and science.
