Kutak Rock announces that Tiffanie D. Stasiak has been elected managing partner of the firm's Denver office, effective May 2016. She succeeds Robert Irvin, who served in the position since 2008. Stasiak is the first woman to serve as a managing partner in any of Kutak Rock's 18 offices. With 87 attorneys, the Denver office is the firm's second-largest by attorney count and the largest of any of the firm's major metropolitan-area locations. Stasiak will continue to practice law while serving as managing partner. She has served on the firm's Executive Committee since 2013 and currently serves as the Denver delegate to the firm's Inclusiveness and Diversity Committee. Prior to joining Kutak Rock in 2011, Stasiak was the managing partner of Lindquist & Vennum's Denver office.

Irvin, who announced in 2014 that he would be stepping down effective May of 2016 as both Managing Partner of the Denver Office and Vice Chair of the firm, comments, "we invited Tiffanie to join Kutak Rock knowing she would bolster our litigation practice in Denver. It was apparent almost immediately that, beyond being a great litigator, she had extraordinarily perceptive business judgment, and she was appointed Denver's second member of the firm's Executive Committee within a year of joining us. She's a delightful person, a great lawyer, and someone who I think will do a tremendous job continuing to grow Kutak Rock's presence in Denver. I look forward to her leadership as I transition back into my full-time public finance practice."

Kutak Rock Chairman David Jacobson remarks, "Tiffanie has, in a very short period of time, demonstrated extraordinary leadership qualities, and she has established a high level of rapport and trust with attorneys and staff across offices. These traits, paired with proven business and client development skills, make her an ideal choice for managing partner of our Denver office. Kutak Rock offers a distinct and compelling value proposition, and this next generation of firm leadership is deeply invested in reinforcing and advancing our position among our peer AmLaw 200 firms.

A successful trial attorney, Stasiak focuses her practice on complex commercial and construction litigation. She represents owners, tax credit investors and lenders, engineering, procurement, construction and maintenance (EPCM) companies, manufacturers, developers, general contractors and subcontractors in business disputes and legal actions. Substantially all of her practice is devoted to litigation and risk management. Stasiak earned a J.D. from the Saint Louis University School of Law.
