Samantha Leflar, an associate in the Arkansas office of Kutak Rock LLP, was recently featured in The Whisper, the newsletter for DRI, the Voice of the Defense Bar, for joining the Young Lawyers Committee. DRI is the international membership organization of lawyers involved in the defense of civil litigation.

Leflar gives back to her community as a Commissioner on the Arkansas Access to Justice Commission, an organization formed by the Arkansas Supreme Court to work toward expanding access to and increasing the quality of justice for all Arkansans. She also assists the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas as a member of the Grant Making Committee, and she volunteers for her local Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children program.

Leflar focuses on appellate advocacy and on the defense of health care providers in civil litigation, including negligence and tort defense, labor and employment defense and risk management. She also holds a seat on the firm’s Pro Bono and Community Service Committee.
