A member of the Corporate/Real Estate Department, Bob has a national practice, serving as tax counsel to national syndicators, corporate investors, developers and upper-tier investors on matters involving the low-income housing tax credit ("LIHTC"), historic rehabilitation tax credit ("HTC"), renewable energy tax credit ("ETC"), new markets tax credit ("NMTC") and numerous state tax credit programs. He represents major financial institutions, the largest direct investor and serves as primary counsel for a Nebraska-based Fortune 100 multinational corporation and several of the most prolific syndicators in the tax credit industry.

Bob's practice emphasizes partnership and LLC law, federal and state tax law, affordable housing and tax credit financing. His practice also includes the representation of a national syndicator as primary tax counsel on Native American Housing transactions. Bob assists clients with structuring strategies and key document negotiation in connection with LIHTC, HTC, ETC, NMTC and state credit transactions. He also has significant experience advising investors on the real estate and debt financing aspects of these investments.

In addition, Bob's practice includes advising tax credit investors on various workout, distressed real estate and asset management issues, including assistance with exit strategies. He is a certified public accountant (inactive) and earned an MBA, with highest honors, from the University of Illinois.
