Omaha Partner John Schembari Quoted in Omaha World-Herald Article

News | September 4, 2014

John Schembari, a partner in Kutak Rock’s Omaha office, was recently quoted in the Omaha World-Herald’s "'Life changes' that affect your health insurance might affect your taxes" article posted on September 3, 2014.

The article explains why Nebraska and Iowa residents should notify HealthCare.Gov when they have life changes and how the failure to do so can affect the cost of their tax credits and individual health insurance. In the article, however, Schembari states that “It’s not the end of the world if they don’t notify the government, say, when they have a baby. When they file their taxes, it’s a true-up process at the end.”
