Nick conducts a practice primarily focused on banking and commercial lending, real estate acquisition and conveyance, contracts and commercial transactions.

Nick provides a wide range of representation for his banking clients including: the perfecting and enforcing of real estate and personal property security interests, loan transactions, compliance with laws and regulations concerning emerging privacy issues as well as operational matters. Nick also has assisted various financial institutions in reviewing, drafting and negotiating loan and security documents, such as loan agreements, mortgages, assignments of leases, assignments of licenses and permits, security agreements, and UCC filing statements. He also frequently provides local counsel opinions for the benefit of out-of-state lenders entering into Arkansas-based loan transactions.

In real estate, Nick’s practice includes acquisitions, sales, leases and project development of hotels, retail shopping centers, office buildings, mixed-use centers, horizontal property regimes/condominiums, apartments, representation of condominium owners' associations, and representing both lenders and borrowers in real estate loan transactions. Nick also possesses significant experience in drafting title and survey memoranda, title objection letters and title objection responses for clients and performing any related curative title work for any related issues that may arise. He has handled a large number of real estate closings and all contract, title and due diligence matters related thereto.
