NMTC Financing for Mile High United Way Headquarters

A multi-office team of Kutak Rock attorneys successfully structured and closed a new markets tax credit financing for a new Denver headquarters for Mile High United Way, the oldest United Way nonprofit organization in the country.

Attorneys from the Omaha office represented the tax credit investor and attorneys from the Denver office represented a local community development lender in the transaction. Together they secured below-market new markets tax credit financing that will allow Mile High United Way to construct a new headquarters building in the Curtis Park neighborhood in Denver. The building will be constructed to Silver LEED standards. Mile High United Way will be in the new space by the fall of 2014.
