Kutak Rock is pleased to announce that six attorneys have joined its Minneapolis office. The attorneys make the move from the Minneapolis law firm Anderson, Helgen, Davis & Cefalu, PA (Anderson Helgen), effective today. The additions strengthen the firm’s service offerings in the areas of employee benefits, labor and employment, litigation, business and corporate law, and grow Kutak Rock’s Minneapolis attorney count to 21 and the firm’s overall count to 518.

The attorneys joining from Anderson Helgen include David S. Anderson, Henry M. Helgen, III, Cindy L. Davis, Amanda R. Cefalu, Bryan J. Morben and B. Tyler Philippi.

“We are excited to have Anderson Helgen join us, and we anticipate a quick integration for their attorneys and staff and a smooth transition for their clients,” remarks Steven Likes, managing partner for Kutak Rock’s Minneapolis office. He adds, “Kutak Rock continues to expand and provide service offerings that are a good match for the Twin Cities market. We are well-positioned to seize upon excellent opportunities when they arise, and we look forward to deepening our client relationships with continued growth.”

David S. Anderson, President and Partner with Anderson Helgen, said, “Choosing a firm that can provide the environment and continuity we want for our clients is not easy. Kutak Rock represents what we hoped to find—an extraordinary commitment to client service, a welcoming and collegial culture, and values that resonate with our own. We have every confidence that Kutak Rock is the right choice for us and our clients.”

Jay Selanders, Chairman of Kutak Rock, comments, “We give much thought and consideration to our firm’s growth. Whether it’s welcoming a single attorney, adding a group of new attorneys or opening an office in a new market, our focus remains the same—hiring talented, experienced and personable attorneys, while honoring and upholding our values and maintaining the culture of the firm. Anderson Helgen represents who we are as practitioners and as a firm, and I welcome them warmly to Kutak Rock.”

Kutak Rock moved to expanded office space in the RBC Plaza building at 60 S. 6th Street earlier in 2017.
