Matthias Edrich is Panelist for ABA Section of Taxation May Meeting

Kutak Rock tax partner Matthias Edrich was a panelist during this year’s American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Taxation Meeting in Washington, D.C. May 10-12, 2018.

The three-day meeting brought together the nation’s leading tax practitioners to discuss current issues, topics and legislation. Attendees, speakers and guests included high-level government officials, judges, corporate counsel, and private practitioners engaged in all aspects of tax law.

Edrich discussed tax-exempt financing on a panel titled “Economic Development Bonds After the Jobs and Tax Act.” The panel was part of the Tax Exempt Financing Committee within the ABA Section of Taxation.

Edrich is a member of Kutak Rock's national federal tax and public finance practice. His work focuses on U.S. tax aspects of financial instruments, with an emphasis on tax-exempt and tax credit bonds.

According to the ABA website, the Section of Taxation serves its approximately 23,000 members and the public by providing education about taxes and tax systems, and by providing leadership to support the development of an equitable, efficient and workable tax system.
