Mariza McKee, a partner in Kutak Rock's Chicago office, presented at the Ask an Expert: EB-5 Session at the CDFA National Development Finance Summit in Charleston, SC on November 5, 2015. The CDFA National Development Finance Summit is a weeklong series of events dedicated to advancing development finance knowledge, networks, and innovation. The session focused on basic rules and regulations, finding and working with regional centers, types of projects that have successfully used EB-5 capital, structuring deals with EB-5 as a component, and problem-solving difficult deals.

McKee focuses her practice on structuring, negotiating and documenting EB-5 financings. She counsels regional centers, private equity funds, developers, lenders, borrowers and community development agencies that manage or are otherwise involved with domestic and international equity offerings seeking EB-5 investment.
