Kutak Rock has been ranked, for the fourth year in a row, as the No. 1 bond counsel firm in Colorado based on the par value and the number of financings completed in 2017. The firm completed 91 deals totaling $3.14 billion last year. Kutak Rock’s public finance practice, the largest in Colorado, served as bond counsel for over 45% of the total number of bond issues in 2017, ranking the firm first in the state based on number of issues for the 14th straight year. According to the Thomson Reuters 2017 Year-End Colorado Municipal Market Analysis, the firm completed more than twice as many issues, and nearly $1 billion more in transactions, than any other firm in the state.

Nationally, Kutak Rock is one of the most active firms in the roles of both bond counsel and disclosure counsel. For all of 2017, Thomson Reuters ranked the firm the number four bond counsel and number five disclosure counsel in the nation. In the role of underwriter’s counsel, the firm placed seventh nationally in 2017.
