Christopher Heroux has a wide-ranging transactional law practice focused in the areas of oil and gas, energy and mining law, representing local, national and international companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, participation and development projects.

Carol Mihalic focuses her practice on a wide range of federal and state tax matters representing leveraged fund lenders, community development entities, tax credit investors, structuring agents and qualified active low-income community businesses.

Tameron Bishop focuses her practice on real estate, commercial transactions, secured lending, and real property and asset-based lending. Her practice includes general corporate assistance, contract negotiations and advice and planning for all aspects of business representation.

Stuart Hindmarsh conducts a practice involving real estate and banking transactions. 

Kyle Unser focuses his practice on civil litigation, construction law, commercial transactions, banking, and real estate.

Irvine Office 

Michael Strickroth concentrates his practice on commercial litigation. He has served as an arbitrator in Orange County Superior Court and as a Court-appointed Referee.

Little Rock Office

Jennie Clark works in corporate and partnership taxation, estate planning and tax issues for nonprofit organizations. She provides tax-related advice to publicly traded, privately held, and various other types of REITs, real estate funds and publicly traded partnerships.

L. Keith Harvey focuses on public and private company mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, public and private securities offerings, and securities compliance. He formerly practiced corporate law for clients in the health care sector. 

C. David McDaniel conducts a practice concentrating on general corporate and securities law matters, including capital formation transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance.

Omaha Office

Kasey Cappellano focuses on litigation and employment law, including discrimination and harassment suits, wrongful discharge, misappropriation of trade secrets, tortious interference and breach of employment agreements, plus claims to state agencies and employment commissions.

H. Dale Dixon concentrates his practice in the areas of structured finance, finance transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. He represents issuers in connection with term and variable funding securitizations totaling in excess of $5 billion and involving a variety of asset classes.

Sara English works in the areas of technology, e-commerce, privacy, and data security. She routinely advises clients from a variety of commercial sectors such as health care, retail, and finance in all aspects of technology transactions and the use and handling of sensitive personal information including complex licensing transactions, custom software development agreements, open source technology, data breach notification rules, HIPAA and HITECH, and eCommerce operations.

Alison Gutierrez focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation with an emphasis in the areas of securities and other financial services-related litigation and construction law. 

Jason Jackson is a registered patent attorney practicing in all areas of intellectual property, with an emphasis on patent litigation as well as patent prosecution before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. 

Todd Kinney focuses on commercial and intellectual property litigation. He has experience defending companies in patent infringement suits and trademark matters and also routinely advises clients on contractual matters involving intellectual property, including license agreements and indemnity matters.

Jeffrey Makovicka counsels public and private companies in connection with regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance. He concentrates on banking matters and represents banking and other financial institutions and their boards of directors.

Kate McCoy Jones practices in the commercial real estate area, concentrating on real estate financing, sales and acquisitions and commercial leasing. 

Ann McGill concentrates her practice on commercial real estate transactions and commercial lending secured by real estate.

Joshua Meyer assists with bond counsel representations of municipal and state issuers in the areas of housing and general municipal finance.

Suzanne Shehan-Ames focuses on contract, banking, construction and intellectual property litigation. She has successfully handled multimillion-dollar disputes involving copyright, trade secret, unfair business practices, anti-trust and breach of contract claims.

Richmond Office

George Scruggs practices primarily in public finance for state and local governments, regional authorities, special purpose authorities, non-profit corporations and for–profit entities. He has served as bond counsel, issuer’s counsel, underwriter’s counsel, borrower’s counsel and bank counsel in numerous tax-exempt and taxable financings in the Commonwealth of Virginia and other jurisdictions.

Scottsdale Office

Christopher Dodd focuses primarily on serving as bond, underwriter’s, borrower's and disclosure counsel on public finance transactions for cities, counties, school districts, colleges and universities, hospitals, 501(c)(3) organizations and state agencies.

Jennifer Kraham concentrates her practice in the areas of insurance regulation and corporate law, with a focus on formation of traditional and captive insurers, counseling clients with respect to regulatory filings and regulatory compliance issues, and responding to inquiries and complaints from regulators.

Jake Sherrard concentrates his practice in litigation matters. He began his career during the heightened period of construction defect litigation and defended several nationally recognized general contractors in complex litigation matters, including several class actions.

Washington Office

L. Elise Dieterich  has over two decades of experience advising clients on a wide range of matters affected by government regulation, concentrating during the past decade on telecommunications, privacy and data security matters. She also has extensive experience as a litigator and mediator.
