Robert Jaffe and Nicole Moriarty Author Article: “Surviving Your Next Securitization: Identifying and Minimizing Unknown Risk”

Kutak Rock of counsel attorney Robert Jaffe published an article with associate attorney Nicole Moriarty, providing insights on minimizing risks in securitization and other financial transactions. The article was featured in the Review of Banking and Financial Services, a periodic review of legal developments affecting lending and other financial institutions.

The article presented the information within the context of lessons learned from the recent wave of residential mortgage-backed securities litigation and the financial crisis of 2008. The authors provided guidance on identifying and minimizing unknown risks and outlined best practices before and after transactions close.

Jaffe is an attorney in Kutak Rock’s Washington, DC office. He concentrates his practice in complex civil and commercial litigation, including antitrust, banking, business torts, contract disputes, insurance coverage, international trade and securities.
