Jad Davis and Tiffany Ackley Author Water Regulation Article in the California Daily Journal

Kutak Rock Irvine attorneys Jad Davis and Tiffany Ackley published an article, “Regulation Could Increase Water Bills,” in the California Daily Journal on April 22, 2014. The article discusses California’s new maximum contaminant level (MCL) for hexavalent chromium in drinking water and the MCL’s impact to water districts. It states water districts will be required to comply with the new MCL, costing them up to $500 million in some cases, ultimately increasing water rates for consumers.

Davis is a partner and focuses his practice on environmental law. He represents clients in a wide range of regulatory compliance and environmental enforcement matters under the federal Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, CERCLA, RCRA, California's Prop 65, Water Code and Hazardous Waste Control Law.
