Jad Davis, a partner in Kutak Rock’s Irvine and Los Angeles offices, was a featured presenter and participant in a panel discussion at the 4th Plant DDD: Managing the Power Plant Decommissioning, Decontamination and Demolition Process in Charlotte, North Carolina on January 13, 2015.

Davis’s presentation covered “How and Where are Most CCRs Currently Generated and Disposed—How Will That Change?” Davis also served on the panel “Evaluation of Coal Ash Remediation Solutions” with Kent Nilsson, Senior Consulting Engineer at TRC Companies, Inc. The panel discussed the options for the development of remediation solutions for coal ash disposal sites.

Davis focuses his practice on environmental law. He advises clients on a wide range of regulatory compliance and environmental enforcement matters and represents clients in state and federal courts as well as before various state, regional and local agencies in lawsuits alleging an array of soils, water and air contamination.
