Mr. Song is a registered patent attorney with the USPTO and a partner in the firm’s Irvine office. His practice primarily focuses on litigation involving intellectual property issues, public entity liability, employment law matters, and business disputes. In addition to his litigation work, he also has prosecuted patent applications before the USPTO. Mr. Song earned his B.S. from UCLA in microbiology, immunology and molecular genetics. He was awarded the Pritikin Research Scholarship in connection with his work studying the construction of S4 and S5 mutants in E. coli for the purpose of studying translational accuracy compensation in the P site and A site of the ribosome.

  • Litigation involving real property disputes, including foreclosure actions, commercial unlawful detainer actions, and issues involving title disputes.
  • Defense of public and governmental entities involving inverse condemnation actions arising out of flooding and land subsidence.
