Chris Heroux and Silke Popp Present for Nationwide Oil and Gas Seminar

Kutak Rock attorneys Chris Heroux and Silke Popp presented at a nationwide seminar, “Fundamentals of Oil and Gas Leases and Agreements,” presented through Lorman Education Services on July 28, 2015.

The seminar examined the provisions traditionally found in oil and gas leases and analyzed how the provisions are evolving to meet the challenges of current shale-play developments. Heroux and Popp also discussed current developments in oil and gas leasing.

Heroux is a partner in the Denver office and has a wide-ranging transactional practice focused in the areas of oil and gas, energy and mining law, representing local, national and international companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, participation and development projects.

Popp is an associate in the Denver and focuses her practice on general corporate, business and oil and gas law. She assists clients with respect to business formation, the purchase and sale of real property, agreements and negotiations in a variety of industries ranging from retail to oil and gas. Popp also represents publicly traded corporations in connection with 1933 Act and 1934 Act compliance, corporate governance best practices and board of directors matters.
