Kutak Rock LLP litigation partner, Bradley Boyer, along with employment partner Alan Rupe, recently represented Los Angeles radio personalities, Raquel “Raq-C” Cordova and Ignacio “Nachin” Sandoval.

The popular duo parted ways with their prior employer following the station’s change of format; moving from a Bilingual Top-40 format to Regional Mexican.  While the station had the right to change the format, the new format was not consistent with Ms. Cordova and Mr. Sandoval’s brand.  The Kutak Rock team was able to assist Ms. Cordova and Ms. Sandoval in connection with their discussions with their prior employer.

Ms. Cordova praised the service Mr. Boyer and the Kutak Rock team provided.  "It was amazing to have worked with a firm that gives you the reassurance you need when you are going through challenging moments," she said.  "The follow-up from [Mr. Boyer] was so professional and so on point!”

Ms. Cordova will be starring in a show called "The Collective" which will launch on March 6, 2014,  at 8 p.m. on NUVO-TV.  She also runs a non-profit focusing on empowerment events for women (www.Amigas4MySoul.com).

Mr. Sandoval is currently working on a book, considering various entertainment proposals and even considering a possible move into politics.
