Dave Anderson is of counsel in the firm's Minneapolis office.  He concentrates his practice in single employer and Taft-Hartley multi-employer benefit plans, litigation, and business law. Throughout his more than 30 years in the practice of law, Dave has provided sound advice and counsel to benefit plans, pension plans, boards of trustees, foundations and other tax-exempt organizations, as well as small and mid-size businesses. His focus is to achieve the desired outcome for his client while providing high-quality legal representation in a timely, cost-effective manner. Dave has often presented at events sponsored by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP), the National Electrical Contractor Association and other professional groups. He was an adjunct professor at William Mitchell College of Law from 1987 to 1993.

Taking an active role in his community, Dave has served as a member of the Minnehaha Academy Board of Education and on various committees since 2008. He has also been active in non-partisan political affairs and has served on the campaign committees for the re-election of two Minnesota Supreme Court Justices, as well as numerous District Court judges in Hennepin and Ramsey Counties. Prior to co-founding Anderson, Helgen, Davis & Cefalu in 2009, he was a partner at another significant Twin Cities law firm.
