Ms. Powell is an associate in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. She advises clients in all aspects of international trade law and assists in the representation of clients in trade remedy proceedings before the U.S Department of Commerce, the U.S International Trade Commission, and in related litigation before the U.S. Court of International Trade and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Ms. Powell manages various aspects of antidumping and countervailing duty investigations and administrative reviews, changed circumstances reviews, and scope rulings, assists in Section 337 investigations of unfair imports, and handles matters before the U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Ms. Powell also assists in the representation of clients involved in complex commercial litigation.

Representative Commercial Litigation Experience:

  • Assisted in the representation of a financial guarantor in a multibillion-dollar breach of contract and fraud case. 
  • Assisted in the representation of a U.S. importer in a fraud case against a foreign supplier and exporter. 
  • Assisted in the defense of an economic development authority in a public housing contract case.

Ms. Powell is licensed to practice law in Virginia and the District of Columbia.
