Kutak Rock litigator Gigi O’Hara has been named by Benchmark Litigation in its 2016 edition of the Top 250 Women in Litigation, a publication that recognizes and honors the achievements of female litigators in a variety of practice areas in the United States.

According to Benchmark Litigation, the decision to feature a distinguished female litigator is based primarily on a six-month investigation into the individual litigators’ professional activities as well as client feedback surveys and individual interviews, all of which culminate “in the selection of the country’s most distinguished women in the area of litigation.” The women selected by Benchmark Litigation “have earned their place amongst the nation’s leading female litigators by participating in some of the most impactful litigation matters in recent history as well as by earning the hard-won respect of their peers and clients.”

O’Hara, a Partner in the Omaha office, is an employment defense litigator and has successfully defended employers against various lawsuits brought in state and federal court, including class and collective actions.
