News | June 2, 2015

Kutak Rock served as bond counsel to the Board of Governors of the Colorado State University System in a bond financing of more than $239 million. The Kutak Rock team, led by Fred Marienthal of the firm’s Denver office, assisted the board in structuring the transaction and advising the client on related tax matters.

The bond proceeds will be used to develop a new multipurpose athletic stadium on the Colorado State University campus in Fort Collins, Colorado.

The stadium construction is scheduled to begin this summer and will be completed for the 2017 football season. The 643,000 gross square foot stadium is designed to have a total capacity of more than 40,000.
